FAQ

Why should I join your monthly membership?

Our membership site is filled with articles, video’s and other educational tools that will keep you safe.   There’s nothing that we don’t cover.  If you travel, we’ll show you how to protect yourself while on the road!  Do you use craigslist, ebay, or those social networking sites?  We’ll show you how to stay safe.  We even educate you on the day to day activities you are doing now that are putting you at risk?  You’ll also get our monthly newsletter, and our email “Alerts” so you are notified immediately when new scams come out that you need to be aware of. You won’t make foolish mistakes because you’ll recognize the scheme.  Why?  Because you’ve been educated.

Aren’t I protected if I have one of those companies monitoring my credit?

We’re different from the companies that monitor and put freezes on your credit. What they offer is valuable. The problem is you’re not completely protected. Thieves are very creative and regularly devise new ways to steal from you. You could be with one of those companies, have everything being monitored, and still easily fall prey to one of their schemes simply because you didn’t know better. That’s why we educate you on the day to day activities you are doing now that are putting you at risk? Our membership site is filled with articles, video’s and other educational tools that will keep you safe.

Is the $10 monthly fee per person or per household?

Our low monthly fee protects you and your family.  The price isn’t per person, it’s per household.

Do you have a free trail period?

Yes. You cancel anytime within the first 30 days and get a full refund.

Can't I get this fraud and Identity Theft information from other sources myself?

Yes you can, but you probably don’t have the time each day to spend hours doing tedious research in hopes of finding the information needed to stay educated and one step ahead of the thieves. And that’s where Protect Yourself comes in. Our company’s rigorous research and comprehensive data management brings you the needed information in a clear, concise, organized and efficient format.

If I've been a victim, can I become a victim again?

Yes! Without a disciplined approach and continued education to protect yourself, you risk repeated victimization. "Once it happens, you can never be certain that it won't happen again," Beth Givens, director of the Privacy Rights Clearinghouse, told the New York Times. "You can never let your guard down."

What is your cancellation policy?

Your membership is recurring and continues month after month until you cancel. You have the option to cancel at any time and for any reason. If you cancel your membership but have already been billed for the month, you will NOT receive a prorate credit.
